Join us for our weekly evening hike where we will cover 4/5 miles. There are some small climbs but it's fairly easy. You will probably see parts of the Greenbelt and the trail system that you haven't seen before! Dress for the weather and trail conditions. Bring water and a snack if you think you'll need it. Save the Date: The Greenbelt Conservancy's 'Into Our Woods' Fall Benefit Celebrating our Past, Present and Future Come Into Our Woods for a memorable evening celebrating The Greenbelt Conservancy on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This year, we will honor the family of Gretta Moulton, Eileen Kavanaugh, and the Todt Hill Civic Association. Hosted at the beautiful Nature Center nestled in the heart of the Greenbelt, our annual Fall Benefit will feature live entertainment, delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts, open bar, and an exclusive silent auction. Cocktail party attire requested! We have taken a new approach to the event, moving away from our traditional gala and toward a more relaxed and interactive evening. Join us for "Greenbelt on the Go!" Greenbelt birder, Seth Wollney, will lead a walk around Staten Island’s southern tip. We will be looking for migrating warblers, Philadelphia vireos, indigo buntings and many more in the woods, fields and beaches of Conference House Park. Go here to register for this free event. Meet in the visit center parking lot at the end of Hylan Boulevard in the Tottenville section of Staten Island.
