Staten Island resident and owner of Piccola Pianta, Toni Freda, will lead a Do-It-Yourself course as you create your very own hanging Airplant Terrarium. Terrariums are a charming, eco-friendly alternative to full-scale gardening, bringing life into home interiors by adding unusual and attractive wall decorations and table centerpieces.
The class will also include an exclusive wine tasting hosted by Deb McCole of Winegirl Tastings. Deb is a local wine professional and educator that will guide the group through hand picked delectable wines. Thank you, Deb, for so graciously donating your expertise and wine for this event! Guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate in the tasting.
All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Greenbelt Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that promotes, sustains and enhances Staten Island's Greenbelt.
