Wildflower Walk Celebrating NYC Wildflower Wee and "Jane's Walks"

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Greenbelt Nature Center
700 Rockland Avenue
Staten Island, NY 10314

Sunday, May 6: Take part in a “Jane’s Walk” to meet other New Yorkers and discover an often-unseen part of your Staten Island neighborhood!   Jane's Walks are inspired by the late Jane Jacobs, an activist who battled urban planner, Robert Moses, in order to protect and save Greenwich Village's historic architecture in the 1960's.

Celebrate the 10th annual NYC Wildflower Week with Greenbelt educators as they search for wildflowers and other fantastic flora along the trails of the central Greenbelt.
