Nature Crafts with Angel - Making Cordage and Bottle Netting

10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join Environmental Educator Angel Ehlers on this 2-part virtual Nature Craft program. In part 1, Angel will teach you what cordage is and how to make this rope wrapped from natural plant fibers.

This is an ancient technology that Indigenous people mastered to make their ropes, strings, and threads. In part 2, you’ll learn how to make your own netting weave around a water bottle so that you can always stay hydrated on your walks through the park! Best for ages 8+.

Materials are available for free with registration.  You can register by clicking here - Please only register for this event if you intend on picking up materials.
