Home-school Programs for two age groups
Tuesday, September 19
Once a month, on Tuesdays, we offer programs for home school students and their caregiver.
Our knowledgeable staff and volunteers, and our re- sources are here to help you expand and enhance your curriculum.
Eco-Hike - The Movement of Migration - for ages five to nine - 11:45 - 12:45
Join us as we discuss the migration and adaptations that occur in this season. Held at High Rock Park.
Moses Mountain Hike - for ages ten - fourteen - 11:30 -1 pm
Hawks and eagles are excellent hunters due to their adaptations. Learn about these predators and their role in the food chain - “hoo” eats who. Weather permitting, we will hike to Moses Mountain in search of soaring birds of prey. Held at High Rock Park.
(Note to parents: Parental supervision required. Hike involves crossing Manor Rd. and you are responsible for your children’s safe crossing.)
