Greenbelt on the Go: Sparrows at Conference House Park

This season we are bringing several of our environmental education programs out of the Greenbelt and into neighboring Staten Island parks. Join us for "Greenbelt on the Go!"
Have you ever asked yourself, “what type of sparrow is that?”. October is prime time to learn how to identify and appreciate all the different species of sparrow that fill our fields and woodland edges. Expect to see song, field, white-throated and white-crowned sparrows, along with others on this walk. Meet in the visit center parking lot at the end of Hylan Blvd.
