GCC Stewardship Project: Phragmites Removal, Loosestrife Swamp

Lend a hand and care for the land by removing phragmites, an invasive plant, from Loosestrife Swamp.

This will improve the swamp ecosystem and help prepare for a more extensive restoration project taking place next spring.

Dress appropriately for working outdoors in the weather conditions. Gloves and tools will be provided. Be prepared to work in mud. Ages 16+.
