– This month’s Nature Crafts with Angel will help celebrate Earth Day by doing two things that are great for the Earth; recycling and planting seeds! Environmental Educator Angel Ehlers will lead you in a fun and messy craft that will give new life to old paper that will be a plantable love note to the Earth, with a layer of wildflower seeds in the paper. Once planted in the soil, and given some water and sunlight, you can watch your recycled paper and seeds grow into new life! Participants will need a blender or food processor at home for best results with this craft. Best for ages 5+ with adult supervision. Please preregister for Earth Day Nature Craft here! – Join us, from the comfort of your own home or school, and meet some of the unique animal ambassadors at our Greenbelt Education facilities. During this virtual program you will get up close and personal with snakes, turtles, frogs and much more! Our educators will address your questions and help the group learn about the natural history of these amazing animals. Preregister for this month's edition of Animal Ambassadors here! – Join us for a special Earth Day edition of Storytime with educator Christopher Rommel. During this virtual program, not only will we learn about what it means to celebrate Earth Day, we will also make a fun craft using recycled materials in the spirit of the holiday.
