Con Edison’s Family Science: Lion or Lamb Weather

Join us at the Greenbelt Nature Center for a fun-filled event all about weather! Will tomorrow be brisk, blustery or balmy? Was there a red sky at night or a ring around the moon? Learn some basic weather terms and traditional lore- and the science behind these expressions. Measure the weather with a thermometer, try out a cloud finder, assess the current weather conditions, and possibly predict future conditions. This program is geared towards ages 5-12 with adult chaperone.  Dress appropriately for hiking outside in the weather conditions
