– Come celebrate National Trails Day at Willowbrook Park and help us beautify the path around the lake by removing any litter, especially any fishing items left behind. Stay afterwards for craft-time to make your own fish out of recycled water bottles! – Hike the White Trail - Hike with Get Outside and Hike SI and other like minds on the Greenbelt White Trail. The easy/moderate level trail is great for beginners. Meet at the Carousel for All Children in Willowbrook Park. – Join with Cliff Hagen, president of the Protector's of Pine Oak Woods, as he identifies birds, bugs and butterflies during a slow walk around Willowbrook Park. Learn different bird songs, watch closely different butterflies and investigate the ponds edges for dragonflies, damselflies and other winged creatures.
