– Join us for the Greenbelt Adult Hike - High Rock Park - Paulo’s Peak! We will be looking for the patch o’ green in High Rock Park as we hike the hills, across Seaview meadow and up to Paulo’s Peak. During this celebratory birthday hike for the former Staten Island Parks Commissioner, we will be on the lookout for early migrant birds. Hikers will meet at the Nevada Avenue parking lot. – Spring time is almost here- and that means our frogs are waking up. Join us for a story (or two) about frogs, make a fun frog craft, and, weather permitting, take a short hike to the vernal pools where frogs lay eggs. Recommended for ages 4-8 with adult chaperone. Dress appropriately for the weather and for hiking outdoors on the trail.
