Trees of the Greenbelt - High Rock Edition

10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Saturday, March 18 - Meet volunteers from the Protectors of Pine Oak Woods at the Greenbelt's multi-use/bike path entrance on the Old Mill Road (west of Richmond Hill Road) next to the old St. Andrews Church. We will walk west along the bike path cutting invasive vines that strangle saplings along the trail close to the Church (our 246th monthly workshop). If you don’t have your own, Protectors will supply gloves, pruners & refreshments. After the work session we will take a short walk over nearby trails. For more information contact Don Recklies at (718) 768-9036 or Chuck Perry at (718) 667-1393. (Service credit is available.)
