Become a citizen scientist at this year’s SI BioBlitz and discover how you can help frogs and toads in our environment by identifying and monitoring their unique vocal calls.  FrogWatch USA is a nationwide program that monitors and tracks amphibian populations by collecting data with help from volunteers like you!   Your data is valuable in assessing the health and biodiversity of local amphibian populations, and you may also have a chance to monitor your favorite wetland with your family, friends, or scout troop. Community service credit is available. Please, bring a headlamp and sturdy shoes. Free. Ages 8+. For questions by 4 pm the day of event, email or call us: naturecenter@sigreenbelt.org 718-351-3450.
