Shibori in Shades of Blue : A fiber workshop with artist Janice Patrignani

Saturday September 14: Join artist Janice Patrignani for a  participatory fiber art workshop which will feature Shibori, the ancient Japanese fiber art  in conjunction with Natural Indigo, (the oldest known dye to mankind considered a rare and precious commodity). This project funded in part by a DCA Art Fund Grant from Staten Island Arts with public funding from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs. Free program. Ages 6+.
