Greenbelt Story Time: Skeletons and Skulls

Join us outside at the Greenbelt Nature Center for skeleton stories. We will have our animal collection of skulls and skeletons for all to see. Program will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Social distancing and masks are a must.

Registration: By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read our Covid-19 precautions and media consent. The event is free but registration is required - please preregister here.

Location: Meet at the Greenbelt Nature Center.

Public Transportation to Greenbelt Nature Center: By bus from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal: Take the S62 bus to Bradley Avenue. Transfer to the S57 bus, which will take you to the Brielle and Rockland Ave. stop. Cross the street at the light.

By Train from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal: Take the SIRR toward Tottenville, and get off at the New Dorp stop (9 stops). Walk about 1 minute down New Dorp Lane to Rose Avenue and New Dorp Plaza to get on the S57 bus toward Port Richmond. Go about 10 minutes (10 stops) and get off the bus at Rockland Av/Brielle Av. Walk 1 minute to Greenbelt Nature Center.

Gear: Wear weather appropriate clothes. Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) are required.

Cancellation: This program may be canceled if registration is too low, or if there is inclement weather predicted on the day of the event. Please ensure that we have your correct information so that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation. As we receive cancellations, names will be added from the waitlist.
