One Square Foot of Nature / Nature Bite

There is so much to observe in the great outdoors, but it can be a little overwhelming to know what we’re looking at when there are so many things in our view. Sometimes, it’s a good idea to look small and close. Let’s take a short virtual trip to the forest floor and explore just one square foot of what lies beneath our feet in the woods. What can we see/feel/smell/hear in just a small space? What are some of the things we can identify, and what are some of the questions that are raised that we can walk away with to find out more?
