Join the Greenbelt Conservation Corps for this exciting plant monitoring event, and your chance to become a community scientist right here in High Rock Park! Loosestrife Swamp is a vibrant wetland ecosystem which provides habitat for countless plants and animals- and has been doing so for hundreds of years! The GCC will be conducting a site visit to compare the plant species that are growing in the area today to what could be found there nearly 50 years ago! Learn how to use field guides, historical texts, and iNaturalist to determine how things have changed in half a century!
