Art Scavengers with Janice Patrignani

Take part in the restorative process of creating from nature surrounded by nature. Take a walk on one of the inspiring trails near the Greenbelt Nature Center, find/collect materials such as twigs, pods, pine cones, or pebbles, then arrange/glue your found objects to a base to create a small mosaic piece for yourself and make components for a collectively made natural mural. Participants will have the option of working social distance style on the outside patio of the Greenbelt Nature Center or pick up a supply packet and watch a video for instructions to create their pieces individually.

This project is funded in part by a DCA Art Fund Grant from Staten Island Arts with public funding from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.
