Greenbelt Conservation Corps: Red Trail Stewardship Project - June 13
Join the Greenbelt Conservation Corps for this trail stewardship project designed to engage individuals with a sense of community, and wish to make the Greenbelt a better place!
This trail stewardship work project will cover the basics of trail design, building, and maintenance requirements, while rerouting a section of the Red-trail in the LaTourette section of the Greenbelt.
Gear: Long pants and boots/sturdy shoes required. Please bring water, a snack, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Tools and PPE will be provided.
Project site is a 15-20 minute hike from the Greenbelt Nature Center on moderate and uneven terrain. Participants will be asked to carry tools and materials to and from the worksite.
