Greenbelt Adult Hike| Hawk Migration Walk

Join us for a walk through Brookfield Park in search of birds of prey. Migration brings many raptor surprises in the sky. Meet at the entrance inside Brookfield Park at the intersection of Arthur Kill Rd. and Brookfield Ave. Trails are paved. No restrooms available. Bring binoculars if you have them.

This hike will be close to 1.5 hours in duration and is level terrain.

Designed for adults ages 18+ who want to spend time in nature, get healthy exercise, and more! Face masks and social distancing a must.

Registration: By registering for this event, you confirm that you have read our Covid-19 precautions and media consent. The event is free but registration is required.

Gear: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, long, light colored pants are preferred. Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots) are required. Please bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Cancellation: This program may be canceled if registration is too low, or if there is inclement weather predicted on the day of the event. Please ensure that we have your correct information so that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation. As we receive cancellations, names will be added from the waitlist.
