The historic David LaTourette House serves at the clubhouse for the 18-hole LaTourette public course, part of the Staten Island Greenbelt.

La Tourette Golf Course is an 18-hole par 72 public course that sets a high standard for city-owned courses. It features rolling fairways and sweeping views.

The course, on the grounds of the former David LaTourette farm (established in 1830), was designed in 1920 by David L. Reese; John Van Kleek designed nine new holes and redesigned the others in 1935. Frank Duane remodeled four holes in 1964.

From the time you enter the restored 170-year old Greek revival manor house that serves as the clubhouse, you know that his course is special. Rolling across the hills and valleys overlooking historic Richmond Town, the 6,692- yard layout is championship caliber golf at its finest.

The full-size driving range is an excellent place to warm up before your round or to enjoy some time perfecting your swing with the course pro. LaTourette is challenging for experienced golfers while it offers a friendly learning environment for those who are new to the game.
LaTourette is owned by the City of New York Parks and Recreation; the facility is managed by American Golf Corporation and it open throughout the year. The Greenbelt’s Cold Feat 10K trail race takes place at LaTourette in February when the links are often covered in snow. Many Greenbelt trails, including the Greenbelt multi-use trail, which skirts parts of the course, are accessible from LaTourette.
