Become a member of the Greenbelt Conservancy in 2018, and become a part of our success!

We greatly rely on our members for support and stewardship

Not everyone realizes that what makes the Greenbelt beautiful and successful is the stewardship commitment of the Greenbelt Conservancy, a not-for-profit organization that works in partnership with NYC Parks to care for the Greenbelt.

The Greenbelt Conservancy relies on private funding from people like you, businesses, foundations, corporations and general philanthropy.  Become a member and become a part of maintaining and beautifying this vital parkland and legendary trail system in central Staten Island.

Today, it is not unusual for many city parks to work with not-for-profit partners to help keeps facilities, trails, trees and plants in pristine condition.  Community engagement has proven vital for the success of New York City Parks.

There are many ways to get involved as a member of the Greenbelt Conservancy – from “Young Naturalists” to “Mighty Oaks” categories, we have something for everyone.
