“Wendy Willow Water Ballerina”: a book reading by author Diane Garcia

Diane Garcia, a retired teacher and a synchronized swimmer, will be reading her children's book, "Wendy Willow Water Ballerina - A story about Synchronized Swimming". The story highlights her first experience with Synchronized Swimming at the Royal Flamingo Swim Club which was located on Staten Island . She will be explaining the tie in between synchronized swimming and all our aquatic friends, dolphins, flamingos, cranes, sharks, and many more! Children will join her during and after the reading, on the floor, to mimic some of the moves and positions of their favorite aquatic friends. Recommended for ages 4-8 with adult chaperone.
