Families are invited to gather to explore a range of science topics and activities. A few short, self-guided activities will start families thinking together, followed by a full group activity. Families with children ages 8-10 years old are welcome to register for these events.  Go here for online registration. 

The topic for our July session is: Density, Buoyancy, and Boat Building 
It's summertime, and floating is fine! Make a lava lamp, a Cartesian diver, and build boats from various materials, then participate in a Greenbelt regatta (outside, weather permitting!). Please bring or wear water shoes and clothing suitable for an occasional splash.
