Park and Trail SafetyThe Greenbelt's trails are designed and intended for safely experiencing nature while walking and hiking. Bicycles are permitted only on paved areas within the Greenbelt. A perimeter path for bicycles is planned.
For your own safety, and to ensure that the Greenbelt and its wildlife habitats remain undisturbed, please remain on designated trails. Hikers are encouraged to visit in groups of two or more. Cellular telephone coverage in the Greenbelt is generally good.
The Greenbelt is a public area, so please be considerate of your fellow park users and our neighbors. Please dispose of trash properly, and do not smoke in or near the woods.
Leave flowers, plants, animals and other natural resources as you found them. Remember that destruction, defacement, alteration or removal of parks property is against the law. Take only pictures; leave only footprints!
Overnight camping, fires, and possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited anywhere within the Greenbelt.
Dogs love the Greenbelt, and are very welcome, but they must be kept on a leash. Owners must clean up after their dogs.
